This Boot camp app is a great way to keep your mind fresh and body healthy, but you dont always have enough time to make it to the next boot camp session with friends.

Now you can and all it takes is 7 minutes and your iPhone, in the comfort of your own home or in a hotel room on a business (or holiday) trip!

The story behind this app:

Sometimes winter makes it difficult to motivate yourself getting up early or driving to boot camp or gym after work. Sometimes we all have a busy stretch at work and time is suddenly scarce (those 14 hour work days and/or family commitments then take priority over a 1 hour gym/boot camp session).

I went from no exercise for the last 20 years to daily exercise for the last year and no Im not a fitness guru, Im just another working professional that kept postponing adding some sort of exercise routine to my day - I knew I should, that it will benefit my health, improve my vitality and even kick start my nervous system so my mind is fresh for the new days challenges.

To make it worse Im a single parent on top of that so when Im not working Im making food, washing dishes, helping my son with his homework, ensuring laundry is taken care of and paying bills, like we all have to - and I simply dont have the time to go to a gym.

What I got out of the exercises were a sense of heightened vitality, feeling strong for the day and capable of achieving anything and not feeling depressed but feeling I had the energy to work hard during the day and be a great parent at night for my son - now that was missing.

Then I read an article on a 7 minute high intensity circuit training intended for a busy schedule as we all have in todays times. This lead me to do some research and find the original article published on the topic as well as others. I realized that my iPhone is not just a phone to me, its an extension of my day each day and I wanted to apply my iPhone to help me with a boot camp session of a few minutes each day and so I started working on this app, using it and then refining it. I wanted it to be focused, simple and most importantly I wanted it to help me track my efforts in a meaningful way. And so this app was born.
